THE SKINNY ON PINTAIL LONGBOARDS:

The pintail is a classic surf-inspired shape that you'll often find on many cruiser, carving and pumping boards. The shape has a wider base center that sharply tapers off on the nose and tail at varying sharpness.

Pintail longboards are designed to ride directional, and because of their taper will often allow for a larger wheel to turn and carve deeper without wheel bite. The tapered nose and tail with a wider center deck will also create more of a fluid, surf-like balance when carving.
